Alyssa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Carroll University in 2018 and has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting since. She treats a variety of conditions, including post-operative, musculoskeletal pain, vestibular disorders, and sports medicine and orthopedic injury. She uses many manual treatment techniques, including dry needling, in combination with exercise to make the body more functional in everyday life.

Alyssa’s approach to therapy is to team up with her patients to improve their function and to make therapy as enjoyable as possible. Her favorite part of being a physical therapist is the length of time she gets to spend with her patients in order to form meaningful connections and create personalized treatment plans. Her strength is her ability to relate to a diverse population of individuals, which allows her to make an impact on her patients and her patients to make an impact on her.

When out of the office, Alyssa enjoys being active, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. You can catch her exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around Chicago in her free time.
