Joanna Bakos PT, DPT, has been practicing in an outpatient orthopedic clinical setting since 2013. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University (in Boston) in 2013. She enjoys working with patients of varied backgrounds and ages, including recreational athletes, weekend warriors, children, and teens.

Joanna focuses her treatments on addressing patients’ musculoskeletal imbalances and asymmetries. She is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, and uses dry needling as an adjunct treatment to help release muscular trigger points and restore functional movement patterns.

When she is not treating patients, Joanna enjoys cooking new recipes, entertaining friends, and traveling. She also likes to stay active by playing tennis, doing yoga, and hiking when she can.
